We at Future Ranking understand you’re busy. Work, school, family, friends and life makes it hard to write articles for your blog. Writing a 2,000-word article everyday or every other day can be time consuming. But, now you can easily and effectively write an article in 20 minutes!
Writing quickly doesn’t mean compromising on writing well. With our six tips, you’ll be able to write an article in 20 minutes without sacrificing quality.
1. Keep an “idea list”
When inspiration for a post strikes, write to down on a sticky note, notebook or on a word file! For many bloggers (including myself), finding the topic to write about takes up half the time. Keeping an “idea list” lets you quickly start a new post when you’re ready to write.
2. Let your ideas sit
If you try to force yourself to come up with supporting information for your idea right away, it’s going to take forever. Let your idea sit for a while and you can add new ideas as they come to you. When you’re ready to write, you’ll have your topic and supporting details ready to go.
3. Use bullet points or numbers
Bullet points or numbers can make writing an article a lot simpler in terms of organization because you no longer have to figure out how to transition from one idea to another. Also, articles written with bullet points or numbers are easier to read and follow.
4. Keep it concise and short
Ideally, if you want to finish the article in 20 minutes, try to keep it under 500 words. Make every word count and you’ll save time without letting quality slip or letting the article get wordy.
5. Come back later
If you find yourself stuck or distracted, come back to the article later. Don’t try to force the words to come. Once inspiration strikes, open the document again and start writing away.
6. Never wait on a good idea
Although it may seem better to save the best ideas for later because you think they’ll be easier to write about, this is not the case. You don’t want to save time later – you want to save time now! Do the articles you know will come easily and use your 20 minutes wisely.
With these six tips in mind, you’ll be able to write short but good blog articles that will help market your blog and get your business name out there in the Internet community.
